The 2019 Vu Lan Grand Ceremony at Dragon City

On August 24, 2019 (the 24th day of the 7th lunar month in the Year of the Pig), the Vu Lan Grand Ceremony at Dragon City 2019 was solemnly held at the Kim Long Villa Complex in Dragon City – South Saigon. This marked the 7th consecutive year the event was co-organized by Phu Long Real Estate Corporation and the Tuong Nguyen Pagoda Charity Association. The ceremony welcomed a large number of monks, Buddhists, residents of Dragon City, and nearby communities.
Vu Lan Day, known as the festival of filial piety, is a profoundly humane celebration that honors the Vietnamese tradition of gratitude and respect for parents and ancestors. It is an occasion to reflect on the great sacrifices of mothers and fathers, celebrate ethical and moral values, and pray for peace and prosperity for families and loved ones.

As a prominent investor and developer of large-scale real estate projects in major cities and tourist destinations such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Phu Quoc—including the flagship Dragon City project in South Saigon—Phu Long has always aimed to foster strong community connections. The Vu Lan Grand Ceremony has become a meaningful cultural tradition of Dragon City residents, reflecting a unique identity that celebrates filial piety—the core of Vietnamese values and humanity.
