Furama – A Peaceful Oasis for Couples

The central garden of the Furama Resort was once voted by The Guide magazine as “The Green Oasis of Danang.” It is also a peaceful haven sought after by couples in love.
An oasis is known as a refreshing land, surrounded by trees and a central lake, standing isolated in the midst of a scorching desert. With the unique design of the Furama Danang garden, the large central swimming pool is encircled by a rich variety of plant species, evoking the image of a natural oasis nestled right in the heart of the city.

The three-hectare garden is modeled after the scenery of a tropical rainforest, with layered vegetation, diverse plant species, and dense vines. On a recent vacation, renowned writer Vu Tu Nam, deeply impressed from his first visit, likened this place to the forest of Viet Bac. Tall trees such as coconut, areca, and almond intermingle with colorful bushes and clusters of flowers growing luxuriantly beneath. This is also a thriving habitat for many bird species. Taking a morning stroll through the garden, you will notice the presence of sparrows, warblers, and doves through their melodious and joyful songs.
At the heart of this “oasis” lies the large swimming pool, commonly referred to by guests as the Lagoon. It is gracefully designed with curves, nestled under the shade of leafy canopies. This is an ideal place for couples to enjoy swimming in clear blue water, whether under the blazing summer sun or in breezy weather. Moreover, the “Lagoon Bar” located right next to it is a must-visit rendezvous spot for those in love. With its open design immersed in surrounding nature, the Lagoon Bar is neither noisy nor bustling—just tranquil and gentle enough, creating a space exclusively for couples.

By taking full advantage of its natural assets, Furama frequently updates and creates new, eye-catching and refreshing summer cocktails and mocktails. Most recently, the resort has launched an afternoon tea program accompanied by a dessert buffet served right by the pool.
Couples can also enjoy spa treatments in the heart of nature. In randomly arranged wooden pavilions scattered throughout the “green oasis” and surrounded by lush greenery, lovers can unwind in a private, yet open and breezy setting. From gentle aromatic facial massage techniques to traditional full-body Vietnamese treatments, these services help couples quickly release the stress and fatigue of daily life. Many visitors have affectionately referred to this lush green oasis as a “paradise found” — a private hideaway for magical moments shared by just the two of them.

The uniqueness of the garden comes from the renowned Australian landscape design firm Denton Corker & Marshall. The rear section of the garden is slightly elevated, forming a gentle hill leading toward the Villas area. Along the paths descending the hill are colorful flower beds lining both sides, guiding visitors through a diverse plant nursery and straight toward the beach. With its many picturesque scenes, the “oasis” is a popular choice for couples taking wedding photos.

Song Seung-heon has stayed at Furama Resort Danang at various times.
The heartthrob of Autumn in My Heart, Song Seung-heon, and actor Lee Sun Kyun, known for his role as Director Park in the recent blockbuster Parasite, along with many other Korean celebrities, have chosen Furama Resort Danang as their place of stay during different visits.
Furama is also a favorite destination of supermodel Vu Nguyen Ha Anh and her husband Olly Dowden — the venue where they held their one-of-a-kind beach wedding and, more recently, their daughter’s first birthday party, celebrated with a tropical-themed festivity full of color.
