In the spirit of “a fertile land nurtures green shoots” and inspired by the vibrant, beautiful life of young saplings, on May 27th, Phu Long successfully organized the “Growing Green Shoots” drawing competition in celebration of International Children’s Day (June 1st). The event attracted enthusiastic participation and interest from future generations, as well as parents who are employees of Phu Long, partners, and residents of the Phu Long project.
The “Planting Green Seeds” drawing competition for children was organized with meticulous care and dedication, under the spirit of “a fertile land nurtures green seeds.”
With the message that children today need not only to develop physically, intellectually, and creatively but also to enhance their life skills and character, it can be said that children are the country’s precious saplings. They must be nurtured and cultivated with knowledge, skills, and life experiences in an environment that fosters intellectual, physical, and moral development.
The “Planting Green Seeds” drawing competition for children, aged 10 to 15, includes children of Phu Long employees, partners, and young residents of the Phu Long project. Its aim is to ignite a passion for painting and foster artistic creative thinking in the children. Through the competition, we hope to discover, nurture talent, and create a healthy and beneficial playground that gives children the opportunity to exchange, learn experiences, and develop their painting abilities.
The “Planting Green Seeds” competition is meaningful in sparking a passion for painting in children, building trust, and strengthening the bond between parents and Phu Long.
With the mission of being “Where values continually thrive,” Phu Long has always promoted responsible business practices for children throughout its development journey. This is evident as Phu Long regularly organizes activities that increasingly meet children’s needs, creating valuable playgrounds to help them develop various skills and grow holistically in terms of physical, intellectual, and emotional aspects. When asked how she felt about the competition, Thanh Nha excitedly replied, “I feel very happy to participate in this competition because I can meet friends and older siblings who share the same love and passion for art as I do. I feel very comfortable because the organizers made sure to meet all of our needs.”
The “Planting Green Seeds” painting competition created a vibrant and familiar “playground” with many themes. The young artists carefully crafted paintings that reflected their thoughts and feelings about the world around them, their dreams, and things they love. The free-style paintings depicted nature and people, family love, and especially some paintings expressing affection for Phu Long and the projects where the children live.
At “Planting Green Seeds,” we not only witnessed the joyful smiles and creative moments expressing the children’s passion for painting but also saw the proud moments of parents waiting with anticipation. Ms. Nam Dung, who lives at Dragon Hill 1, shared, “Since moving to Dragon Hill 1, my family has participated in all of Phu Long’s events, and I always highly appreciate Phu Long’s meticulous and passionate approach. This time, bringing my two children to the painting competition, I was extremely satisfied with the attention to detail and care that Phu Long provided for the children. The competition was lively, joyful, well-organized, and meaningful. I hope Phu Long will continue to organize such meaningful programs.”
Many parents at the competition rated it as a lively, engaging, practical, and meaningful “playground.”
At the competition, the children competed energetically and creatively, using unique brushstrokes with watercolors, crayons, pastels, oil paints, markers, colored pencils, and more. In each painting, they expressed their emotions and passion for art in an interesting way. The organizers were frequently surprised by the creative brushstrokes and innovative color combinations carefully crafted by the little hands of the children. The judges were also moved by the works that seemed simple at first but conveyed deep and valuable meanings. The outstanding works that won prizes reflected the most sincere emotions of the children, expressed through their artwork. These were their dreams of a bright future, the stories they wanted to share, and their perspectives through the eyes of a child.
“Growing Green Seeds” is also a place where the little angels can play freely.
At Phú Long, social responsibility and corporate culture are always prioritized. Activities for those who are connected and accompany the sustainable development of Phú Long—such as the company’s employees, project residents, and future residents—have been widely spread, receiving enthusiastic responses and bringing about memorable results. The success of the “Growing Green Seeds” competition not only shows the appeal of art to children but also contributes to building a sustainable and humanistic corporate culture.
